As a 100 % recyclable material, CARDBOARD ART HOUSE gains a vast symbolic power, crossing the borders of “artistic intervention” and “sustainable design” – as a material belonging to the field of architecture and the art of engineering. Introducing a material solely known for packaging into a building and constructive setup by taking its structural qualities seriously leads to a total contextual re-interpretation of that matter: packaging becomes content, form becomes an information medium.
