Mind the Map

Description

Mind the Map is marking the Constitutional Jubilee and has brought in historical maps together with contemporary artworks. The physical format of the catalogue is directly connected with the theme of the exhibition: It is designed as a small guide with a map, displaying the artwork. The colours are from the Norwegian flag. Use of horizontal and vertical text refers to the layout of maps. A classical serif font combined with a modern sans-serif, gives the design a sense of time and perspective.

Statement of the jury

The catalog perfectly reflects the occasion and the theme of the exhibition, as it is a very well designed map itself that guides visitors through the exhibition.
