Hanseplatz 1 Korbach

Description

The residential and commercial building on Hanseplatz 1 is one of six recently completed buildings of the new “Hanseplatz Quarter” in the Hansestadt Korbach. The alternating number of storeys, the lively roof structures, the incisions in the entrance portals and the winter gardens attached to the apartments create a balanced sense of tension. The chosen hand-moulded facing brick has a lively surface. The colour of the joints was alternated in light and dark to delineate the individual volumes.

With its changing shapes, spaces and surfaces, the commercial building has a pleasant, lively and contemporary look.
