Description

Shifting the focus back to the most important Süddeutsche Zeitung SZ product – the newspaper – was the defining goal. The design is a striking creation which follows the form of a newspaper. Those pages are filled every year anew with references to politic, culture and sport topics. The design is integrated in an overall spatial concept which supports a direct and undisturbed flow of communication between staff members and visitors – independent of the events in the centre of the booth.


Statement of the jury

The monumental enlargement guarantees that the medium is the centre of attention and cannot possibly be overlooked. A larger-than-life presentation with iconographic effect: with its analog communication of information it wants to be no more, but certainly no less, and is thus very convincing and credible.
