Glowing

Description

The power plant of the BTB brings energy to the Science-Park Adlershof. Around the water reservoirs, there are rings with RGB LEDs installed. The installation shows how much energy is in the reservoirs. Depending on their temperature, the colours of the reservoirs change. The installation has a second function. For special events, there is a special use for these light rings because each one can be controlled individually. In this way, the installation can become a dynamic light installation.

Glowing makes the topic of ecologically generated energy not only physically but emotionally tangible in a fascinating manner. A beautiful work of aesthetic power that has an incredible impact even from a distance it has therefore reached and moved large numbers of people.
