Statement of the jury

Alkkemist is a special gin that is distilled only twelve times a year (always at the full moon). The bottle shape, with soft and harmonic curves that are round like the stones of the Mediterranean coast, underscore the manufacturer’s claim. The one-colour label with partially hidden list of botanicals is stamped with a pearl finish. The metallic colour of the cap is reminiscent of the main goal of the master alchemists: finding the philosopher’s stone. A fascinating design that underscores the character of the product and its manufacture shrouded in secrecy, and yet presents it in a surprisingly modern form.
