Interview

What social and cultural meaning does the work of a graphic designer have? Today’s world is in large part shaped by graphic design. In fact it now forms the basis of life in society. Which is why I find it especially enjoyable to analyse graphic design in everyday life, like a good structured timetable, and also to develop my own concepts for it.

What is your favourite communications campaign? There are a few projects that I really rave about, such as Swiss graphic artist Niklaus Troxler’s concert posters. He’s a music enthusiast and his posters are superb visualisations of the joys and idiosyncrasies of Jazz.

What are your next goals? To continue the way I’m going. I have just started freelancing and would hope to continue to work on challenging communications campaigns and advance my own idea of what good design is.
