Description

Six new buildings and the stable building of the old courtyard characterise the complex. The cuboid-shaped houses have garages integrated into the buildings. The building positions take the illumination and view of the neighbours into consideration. Flat roofs with 5° inclination keep the photovoltaics invisible. The timber buildings are uniformly designed, nevertheless, each house is individual. Open spaces offer a park-like character without fences. No cars, good quality of stay!

Statement of the jury

The exteriors of the sustainable buildings of this residential complex exhibit a clear and simple design aesthetic that is also carried over to the interiors. The vertically disposed wood cladding lends the buildings a distinctive identity and enables the complex to blend harmoniously into the landscape.
