The Newcomer Awards:

The forum for young design talent

Great talents require a forum! The Newcomer Awards of the German Design Council is a unique award and promotes young designers who draw attention to themselves through extraordinary achievements and creative talent.

Renown and international attention

The German Design Award Newcomer is a milestone in the careers of successful designers: Among the former award winners are numerous now renowned designers such as Eva Marguerre, Marcel Besau, Sebastian Herkner and Christian Zanzotti.

In addition, the German Design Council offers all finalists the opportunity to meet leading heads of the design-oriented industry in its network and to make important contacts at various exclusive events

How can I participate?
