2.000 books for the Design Library!

Tassilo von Grolman

A generous donation from product designer Tassilo von Grolman has given our design library a new addition! The donation contains around 2.000 books - including rare editions and a large collection of design publications from Japan, which von Grolman acquired at auction during his many travels.
For us, this is a gift of incredible value that is in the best of hands here. The books are currently being catalogued by our librarian and will soon be accessible to the public.

The foundation's own library offers a comprehensive and valuable knowledge platform on all aspects of design and its neighbouring fields. Thanks to continuous updating, in-depth cataloguing and rarities from the collection, e.g. from the 1950s and 1960s, it has become a valuable and appreciated place for experts and design enthusiasts.
