Description

Origami originated in China, and slowly developed into children’s toys, as well as teaching aids in the School of Architecture used in some of the architectural design. Origami is a kind of art activity which consists of by folding the paper into various shapes. A simple piece paper can be created into a rugged visual aesthetic and demonstrate the effect of realistic three-dimensional space, after being carefully conceived and craft folded.


Statement of the jury

Origami has been translated into architecture here in an impressively sustainable fashion. An intriguing design which, despite its solid wood structure, seems very light and endows the space with an unmistakable identity.
