The world’s first glowing packaging with printed organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) prevails with extreme innovativeness, a strong ability to draw attention at the POS and sustainability. OLEDs are ultra thin, flexible, self-sustaining in their energy needs, low priced and completely printable. As a prototype, the label of a Coca-Cola bottle was equipped with OLED technology. The label shines brightly when the “Play” symbol is touched – the luminous effect works even in a brightly lit environment.
