The Origin of Quantum Dot

Description

The installation was created on the Samsung booth at IFA 2016 for the Quantum Dot technology, a nanostructure which emits colours relative to its size. This creates pure colour with high brightness. As in stained glass windows, the colour of Quantum Dots is long lasting. About 9,000 pieces of stained glass and 52 TVs were used for this experience. We partnered with schnellebuntebilder, Andreas Nicolas Fischer (Media Art), Christopher Bauder (Glass Installation) and Kling Klang Klong (Sound).
