Planet 3.0 is a traveling exhibition whose architecture is a well-thought-out system that considers didactics and functionality in equal measure. 650 million years of climate and biodiversity history are highlighted in seven spatial modules. Dioramas stage the main exhibits. The illustrations appeal to the viewer’s imagination and demonstrate that the images of past worlds rely on assumptions. They are therefore assembled from very modern objects: paper piles, pipe cleaners and cotton wool.

Statement of the jury

This intelligently executed travelling exhibition is outstanding from both a formal and didactic standpoint, and makes its subject emotionally accessible for young and old alike. A concept that is as exciting as it is inspiring.
