Description

Silence is the keynote where pleasure is concerned. Yachts with conventional propulsion systems may not be the main culprit for increasing pollution, but it is important to be aware of our responsibilities towards the environment; this new concept for a yacht family, the XSR, will be built with parallel hybrid propulsion systems; the best alternative to fossil fuels. This cuts back on fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and costs whilst increasing comfort, efficiency and reliability.

Statement of the jury

This elegant yacht features a hybrid engine, which reduces fuel consumption – plus, because it is smaller than a conventional engine, it takes up less space, allowing more room for cabins.
