Description

The SEA chaise-longue (Vessel Collection) is the maximum expression of a design based on the philosophy of dematerialisation. Form – massive and assembled with bolts and screws that have been left visible – is the leading player. It is composed of tubular metal, wooden panels bolted together with visible joints and cushions in cotton or leather. All the structure is completely disassembled and each element of which it is composed is identifiable and traceable to its original state.

Wooden elements screwed on to a minimalist steel structure give this couch its classic form, while the clearly visible connections lend the design its own unique character.
