Description

Parallel to a generational change within the owner family, the hotel is undergoing a substantial renovation and expansion. Interpreting the historical and site-specific background of a former blacksmith’s forge, surrounded by Lana’s apple orchards and vineyards, the hotel is being transformed into a contemporary home for attentive voyagers. A generous, open room layout, natural, precious materials, light colors and discreet illumination are sensitively combined into a timeless, elegant design.

Statement of the jury

This decor creates a link between tradition and modernity to form a timeless and top-notch design that doesn’t try to be more than is readily apparent – and thus makes an impressively honest and agreeable impression. A superbly realised, colour-co-ordinated decor that makes you want to spend time in it and that is abundantly comfortable. The original drawings on the walls are also a nice touch.
