Description

In 1999 a huge landslide on an area of 1.4 sqkm destroyed a whole lot of houses, forests and farmland in the small village of Sibratsgfäll. The incident left behind deep scars. Not only on the landscape, but also on the souls of the people living there. A themed circuit trail through the area allows us to witness and experience the power of nature. The trail serves as a memorial to the natural catastrophe, and is a positive symbol of people’s engagement with nature.

This tour is both interesting and exciting. Its superb stations accurately and intelligibly convey the forces of nature for all visitors. A good tour in commemoration of a natural disaster.
