巾着 or kinchaku for those not familiar with Japanese. A one-off creation for a customer, merging Japanese traditions, sunny autumns in New York and child- hood memories with German design and engineering. Creating a design that removes distractions through clarity. A design that expresses a symphony of inspirations. This truly is a state of mind.

Statement of the jury

Outwardly reminiscent of traditional money pouches, the exclusive product presents in modest lines and restrained cambers. A seemingly robust-looking dark base blends into rich colour and luxurious material that forms the main body of the bag, while an ostensibly stout handle combines with a refined corded loop to result in a gracious, feminine and yet robust-looking bag.
