Furniture design from conviction: Straight lines, angular corpus and striking cross seams characterise the Credo sofa, which defies yawning minimalism with restrained elegance. In the signature fabric made of a wood-green wool felt blend, it uses retro aspects and combines them with modern seating comfort to create an all-round successful product design. In short: Sofa Credo is – influenced by Dieter Rams himself – a profession of faith in good design.

Statement of the jury

The striking cross-seams give an interesting retro look, allowing the sofa to deviate refreshingly from the masses of puristic design. Nonetheless, the sofa retains a modern, clear design language, enabling it to be harmoniously inserted into a variety of living environments.
