Description

In the 43.5 cm case, the designer creates space for the movement and dial. The free space is filled with geometric elements and small movement parts such as springs and wheels. These parts are literally floating in the free space, which is intersected by metallic bars. The inner rim of the case and the outer edge of the dial are similar to technical wheels. The inner plate is hand-enamelled on the front and back, and the rotor of the automatic movement is hand-engraved and refined.

Statement of the jury

Matchless, flamboyant and unconventional yet ostensibly pared-down with an industrial chic look, the product presents as both apparently complex and beautiful. Hand-painted enamel appears to immediately catch the eye with geometric shapes that meld with half visible cogs and springs through the clear back, melding into a stunning time piece for every occasion.
