Description

The idea was the design of a solitary vase that is elegant yet voluminous in shape, so it praises the flower. This challenge results in a piece with an evident contrast between the heavy, bulky base and the shape that points at a delicate mouth where the flower appears light and simple.

Statement of the jury

The bulbous shape gives the vase a sympathetic, friendly appearance, and the small opening to the large »belly« produces an exciting contrast. A decorative piece that makes an impression all on its own; however, its full aesthetic effect is realised in combination with a flower.
