Description

To the south of the community centre, seven apartment buildings were built on an elongated plot of land with a pronounced hillside location. In the new quarter, the search was on for a powerful ensemble effect of the buildings, which would also be expressed through the façade. The coarse-grained, darkly pigmented plaster façade was additionally treated with a coloured glaze. Two differently pigmented top coats and glazes alternate in an irregular rhythm.

Statement of the jury

The two different-coloured coarse-grained final renderings are changed in a regular rhythm and underline the elegant architecture of this building with their dark colouration.
