Description

The typography of the guidance system is very fine and simple. It follows a strict, diagrammatic approach. It is fixed directly to the wall and is partially supplemented by three-dimensional elements. The strict typography is contrasted with large three-dimensional floor numbers. These are made of painted aluminium, covered with blue foil on the back and mounted at a distance from the wall. This creates a bluish backlit effect.

Statement of the jury

The extremely clear and minimalist design of this extraordinary orientation system belies captivating and beautifully solved details. The respective floor, for example, is identified both by a button and by delicate floor numbers displayed at wall-height, their blue backs reflecting an elegant bluish shimmer on the walls.
