Ikar

Description

Characterised by a ring light, Ikar is a fascinating alternative to conventionally shaped downlights. The fully adjustable head can be rotated up to 360° and adjusted by ±90°. Specially designed optical lenses, developed using innovative know-how in optical expertise, deliver pleasant and directional light with low UGR and hidden LED hot spots. The registered luminaire design is available as a track, ceiling or recessed version and in two sizes (65 and 127 mm).

Statement of the jury

With its striking ring shape, Ikar stands from the typically compact form of classic spotlights. The lamphead can be adjusted at will, for precise illumination of the surrounding room. A range of different sizes rounds off the range perfectly. An interesting alternative that complements rooms’ interiors while also catching the eye itself.
