Theater Dortmund Spielzeitheft 2019/20

Description

Theater Dortmund has five separately managed divisions, each of which received a dedicated booklet for the 2019/20 season. The booklets were differentiated by means of different fonts on the one hand and dedicated photo series on the other. This resulted in a literary collage of strikingly different but visibly related publications held in a slipcase, which also contains a plain-style programme overview.

Statement of the jury

Each of the five booklets contains the program of one of the theatre’s artistic divisions. The form of the booklets differs in the use of different distinctive fonts and individual picture series only. The layout, on the other hand, is the same throughout, uniting them under one roof in visual terms. A design concept that is as beautiful as it is aesthetically sophisticated, further enhanced by the elaborate slipcase.
