Description

The residential tower with 96 apartment and commercial units represents a striking landmark in Überseequartier. The slender proportions lend the tower dynamism and elegance. The building has an outward focus and is orientated toward the view of both the Elbe and the city. A static system with a central core and load-bearing façade columns ensures maximum flexibility in the layout of the ground plan. A light-weight façade structure has a lively effect and gives the tower depth.

Statement of the jury

In connection with the polygonal floor plan and the distinctive facade, the tower gains an unmistakeable identity. An interesting concept that’s highly independent but also integrates harmoniously into the modern building style of the neighbouring buildings.
