Wempe Zeitmeister Stahl I

Description

The Zeitmeister Stahl 1 was designed by the musician Herbert Grönemeyer in cooperation with Wempe Glashütte I/SA. The name “Stahl 1” and the bold design are the artist’s tributes to his homeland, the Ruhr region, which was long identified with its steel industry. Each of the two versions of the rectangular self-winding chronometer, in Steel Blue or Racing Green, is limited to 250 pieces.

Statement of the jury

Presenting as luxurious, refined and harmonious, this deluxe-issue watch appears as either classically stylish in steel or contemporary and chic in matt black casing. Available in a choice of materials for the watch straps and a combination of colour options, the watches are customisable yet remain unique in a limited production.
