Description

Born in fire, glass is a unique material inspiring artists and designers that has accompanied people for centuries. The term glass refers to the Germanic expression »glasa«. It means »shiny, gleaming« and also originally described as the jewellery originating from the sea: noble amber. This fascination for glass connects the new hand-blown glass collection from the ASA Selection with design, indulgence and function.

Statement of the jury

The glasses and decanters of the collection are timeless and sophisticated. An appealing detail is the closing ball resting in the funnel- like opening. A beautiful set that becomes the highlight on every table.
