Haus am See
Description
25 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, a modern tree house on stilts was built on the historic lake property in Potsdam. Ancient trees, the water and monumental terraces form the concept of architect Carlos Zwick. With its sustainable materials, the house integrates respectfully into its surroundings. Wooden sliding doors connect exterior and interior spaces, the loggia floats above the water, a maple tree grows through the living room - a perfect synthesis between architecture and nature.
