WDR has overhauled its visual identity. The well designed concept is centred around the umbrella brand WDR with its slogan “Wegweisend. Nah.” (Leading the way. Close to our viewers). At the sametime, the new corporate design consolidatesthe 12 programme and product brands of WDR into a recognisable overall identity, with the brand name WDR being the central element. The various programmes and content are differentiated by monochrome rhombi, numbers and type. A minimalist, clear and easily understandable design that works equally well in print and electronic media and can be used across all communication materials.
