Description

Our inspiration originates from the traditional art of seal cutting that came into existence in China. Our intention was to re-popularize this traditional practice; making it a gift culture. Looking at the very characteristics of seal carving, we took the Chinese character ?, pronounced “xi,” and created a relevant pattern. The visuals reflect a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity. The image of a sunrise embodies the unique mood of Chinese aesthetics.

Statement of the jury

The logo takes up the traditional art and symbolism of seal carving in a sophisticated design and creates a distinctive, contemporary identity that emanates high quality overall.
