Description
Pervading the space. Visitor walkway to Fette Compacting’s customer and development centre. The concept of a three-dimensional, interfusing band evolved from the distinct task of designing a walkway spanning over 60 m to the new customer centre. It constitutes a representative and independent structure within the workshop while not concealing it. It creates connecting axes between the individual areas, integrates the adjacent manufacturing spaces and leads the way for the visitor.
Statement of the jury
The idea to use the aisle as a visitors’ centre was implemented in a visually appealing and informative manner, beautifully balancing the communication of information, aesthetics and elements of corporate design.
