Rotondes

Description

In 2007, the Ministry of Culture and City of Luxembourg decided to restore two warehouse rotundas to create a cultural venue. They set up a temporary one during the works: CarréRotondes, espace culturel. Winning the 2015 contest to create the visual identity of the restored place, we kept one element of the old structure and put it back in its situation: Rotondes. These rotundas are the only pair preserved in the world.

Statement of the jury

The extremely minimalistic design distinctively embodies the two rotundas, creating an independent, very incisive identity.
