The delivery and pickup for the jury session depends on the size of your exhibit that you would like to submit for the jury session. You can provide information on the dimensions and weight of your submission during the online registration.

- Deliver your exhibit directly to Messe Offenbach am Main (location of the jury meeting) in good time and set it up there!
- Please note that delivery must be at ground level. A loading ramp is not available. If necessary, inform your shipping company that delivery must be made by truck with a lifting platform.
- Please take out transport and exhibition insurance! The German Design Awards and its logistics partners handle all exhibits with the utmost care. Nevertheless, your exhibit could be damaged during transportation or assembly.
- Please take care of the customs clearance of your shipment yourself and provide all necessary documents, e.g. a proforma invoice. If you wish to deliver from outside the EU, please apply for an EORI number from the German customs authorities.
Important: Exhibits must be in working order for the jury meeting. The bicycles must have a bicycle stand fitted or be supplied with a separate stand.
In the Web category, the jury will review your website on various devices – desktop, tablet and smartphone.
To ensure that all content can be assessed correctly, your website must also be available in English. You can simply provide the URLs during the submission process. If this doesn’t work or if you need to make changes afterwards, please feel free to contact us directly at: gda[at]gdc.de.
In order to evaluate your app, the jury will test it on various devices.
Please provide us with a download link for this purpose. You can include it when submitting your entry.
If your app is password-protected or requires payment, please set up a demo version. Please send login details or activation codes directly by email to: gda[at]gdc.de. If you encounter any technical issues, please feel free to contact your German Design Award team.
Please note:
We do not have our own storage facilities for exhibits. If your exhibit is not picked up on time for any reason, we will initially store it for up to 10 working days at a cost. After the 10-day period, we will be forced to dispose of or donate the exhibit at your expense. Therefore, please make arrangements for the pickup or disposition of your product at the time of submission. We are happy to assist you throughout this process.
Disposal / Donation
To make delivery routes more sustainable, you can choose whether we donate your exhibit to a social thrift store after the jury session or dispose of it directly (e.g. small material samples or print products). We would be happy if you support us in our goal of making the jury session more sustainable.
