Details
1 out of 7 youngsters in The Netherlands suffer from mental health issues. That’s why we are developing Feelee: a digital diary app designed to give young people insight into their emotions and help them take control of their mental health. Feelee asks youngsters to express their emotions by answering five questions using emojis. The app also collects passive data from the user's phone, such as activity and sleep. The dashboard shows young people how their behaviour can affect their emotions.
The Jury‘s Statement
The Feelee diary app reaches teenagers at eye level, making it easier for them to open up emotionally. In this way, the app becomes a valuable tool to help young people suffering from mental health problems.
