MFB Bauunternehmen

With a new administration building and three tiny houses, MFB turns the idea of “working where others go on holiday” into built reality in Meppen. The project brings office and construction operations together and makes nature part of everyday work. Exposed concrete, timber, aluminium and glass define the robust architecture. Activity-based working, a two-storey foyer, and dedicated communication and retreat areas create space for exchange, concentration and recovery. Planned and realised collaboratively with MFB through a participatory process, the headquarters creates an identity-forming place.
