MXTR BLOCK 2.0

In Shenzhen’s high-density CBD, places to simply stop and stay are increasingly scarce. MXTR BLOCK 2.0, themed “Stay in the Block,” opens and rotates nine “boxes” into an organic cluster shaped by the rhythms of streets, trees, and daylight, offering a place of respite amid the intensity of urban life. Dissolved boundaries and raised platforms weave a “pocket park” into the urban fabric, inviting moments of pause, gathering, and encounters. A modular structural system supports light-touch intervention and long-term adaptation, continuously enriching urban space and public life.
