Neubau KiTa Im Brühl Aldingen

The new building for the kindergarten in Aldingen, with its distinctive shape, defines two distinct outdoor spaces. Facing the street, it presents itself as a self-confident public building, whilst its embracing gesture envelops the spacious garden on the other side and blends subtly into the topography.
The fact that, during the construction phase, the new building was erected around the existing one until the move and demolition could take place remains a memory.

The structure and atmosphere are defined by timber. The structural framework, which defines the spaces, brings the diverse spatial geometries to life.
