Details
This unique building project in the historic village centre of Flims unites a 17th-century residential house, an 1826 barn and a contemporary new volume into a harmonious ensemble.
The “Casa sogn Martin” project follows a clear architectural stance. The existing structure retains its traditional envelope, beneath which a restrained new building is carefully inserted. Finely articulated material transitions weave old and new into a natural, self-evident dialogue. The historic fabric carries the memory of the place, while contemporary elements add new layers, together creating an atmospheric and harmonious whole.
