Little Lane Early Learning Centre Manly

A vertical arrangement of an indoor and outdoor classroom and play spaces that responded to the Manly Beach urban environment. The building sought to set itself apart from the typical stereotypical suburban typology of a childcare centre. Childcare centres have typically been represented by a single storey-built form setback from the street by an open car park and play structures. This building sought to create a playful series of built forms that evoked lightness and shade characteristics.
