The Ameco’s "Fly-Buddy Hub" design concept was sparked by the idea that “social areas are well-designed for business and upper class” but lacking in economy cabins. "Fly-Buddy Hub" transforms the traditional economy experience by introducing a versatile social zone for group travellers, democratizing lie-flat beds and social spaces beyond First and Business Class. Accommodating six passengers seated face-to-face, with convertible furnishing and six scenario modes, this innovative space allows families, friends, and business groups in Economy Class to enhance travel experience by entertainment, socialization, collaboration, and relaxation.
The Jury‘s Statement
The innovative aircraft seat addresses the lack of communal experience in economy cabins. With adaptable furniture, it allows group travelers to interact and relax in a social zone. This concept demonstrates that flexibility is not exclusive to business class.
