The IdeenzugCity is a walk-in 1:1 mockup that provides inspiration for future commuter trains in Germany. In the flexible interior, seats can be automatically moved away to create maximum seating capacity for rush hours. Sustainable material selection, ergonomic seating, customer-centric displays and wayfinding as well as an innovative lighting concept round out the vehicle. With this project, DB Regio is showing what the future of public transport in metropolitan areas will look like.
