Fine Dining Grill & BBQ

An innovative cookbook by the authors Lucki Maurer and Heiko Antoniewicz, which merges "fine dining" and "barbecuing" at a high level.Unfamiliar, but thematically appropriate, photographer Thorsten Kleine Holthaus chose a style with a warm gray background that runs through the entire book.
Only white plates with a strong shadow were photographed.
Typography and image work closely together and the flexible design grid is used to generate a wide variety of layout compositions. Photos and quotes deliberately break up the consistent photo/typeface style.
