Fortepan Masters – Collective Photography from the 20th Century – Selected by Szabolcs Barakonyi

Fortepan Masters is a photographic album, which includes the most remarkable images from the collection of Fortepan, the most significant modern Hungarian online photographic archive. Szabolcs Barakonyi selected 333 that he regards as the most exciting from the collection of more than 100000 images. As a book, Fortepan Masters is elegant, but raw in its use of material. Its most striking element is a medley of the hard cover and the soft card cover containing sheep fur. The typography of the book uses a rampant mix of Times New Roman typefaces.
