MAIN YARD is currently one of the most significant project developments in Frankfurt. The place has experienced a lot. Its heritage from the Stone Age to the present day inspired OrT Group to create a trilogy in which each volume tells its own story, but the three volumes together encompass the project in its entirety. Volume 1 covers the period up to World War II: how it all began, who lived/worked in the Allerheiligenviertel, special features and backgrounds as well as its cultural diversity.
The Jury‘s Statement
The idea of publishing a three-part documentation on the eventful history of the newly developed Frankfurt district is appealing. Volume 1 covers the period from 1945 to `70 and is convincing not only in terms of content but also formally with a contemporary design that arouses curiosity and interest.
