Yongsan History Museum Identity

Yongsan-gu, Seoul is a place that best shows the cross section of Korea's modern history, the most trying period for the country. The MI is designed based on the common hangul initials of ‘Yongsan’, which represents regionality, and ‘history’, the core content of the museum: ‘ㅇ’ and ‘ㅅ’. The image opens and expands left and right, serving as a frame for harboring the many histories of Yongsan. The variegated colors symbolize the Museum that embraces a variety of contents and people.
