Details
Each lever begins as a plain sand-cast brass blank, then is forged by hand into its organic, contoured shape. The marks are struck into the metal while it is red hot — not a texture applied after the handle is made. The result is a surface that comes alive in light and shade, smooth to the touch yet patterned like nothing else. Because every mark is placed by hand, no two handles are exactly the same. A small object, touched every day, made the slow way.
