The product architecture of papyrus is designed for true circularity. In the true sense of the word, circular economy means to give a product a second life without taking any new resources from the planet. papyrus may be the most sustainable product on the planet. Why? The housing is made from bio-based material with cellulose content and even the PCB is made out of paper. Therefore, there is nearly no material that cannot be reused in this remote with a second life. The reduced, thoughtful design embodies environmental responsibility and elegance, and with production in Austria it comes also with a unique feature: a clean conscience.

The consistent use of sustainable materials defines »papyrus« and brings circular design to life. Both the housing and even the circuit board are made from bio-based resources, entirely free of harmful chemicals. Subtle, elegant design meets a thoughtful product architecture that enables an effortless refurbishing process. As a result, this project sets an impressive benchmark for responsible electronics with outstanding relevance.
