Eco Village Rügen

Masterplan, design guidance and planning of three three-sided farmsteads in prefabricated timber. The layout of buildings was tested using wind simulation software. Climate-responsive design strategies of vernacular three-sided Rügen farmsteads have been applied and three building typologies A, B, C have been developed. The design process and construction times could be optimized. A design guidance is ensuring architectural quality and states sustainable construction build-ups and lead details.
